Biggest knowledge issue ever - how did the Earth begin? Many will say God, and many will say science and big bang theory (or something along the lines of calculating how our planet came to rest in the perfect spot). I gotta say, it can be a heated discussion :D
No comment :P
ReplyDeleteBut I will say, way to be "that guy".
Some might say that God caused the big bang.
ReplyDeleteI wish this was more like Facebook, and I could "Like" a post/comment xD
DeleteI try.
DeleteI want to know why the creationists are so demeaning of all other ideas, while scientists are not quite as such. Or, why are there Christian scientists but not many fundamentalist clergy who consider science? Why can't the religious side consider how much science has done for them? Not saying that this should change their beliefs, though. Maybe they could adapt their beliefs, like Michael supposed.
ReplyDeletePS: just because you are not a creationist does not mean you are an atheist.
ReplyDeleteI agree with that ^ , Cody. Why can't the two ideas both be right? I suppose it has to do with how literally one interprets the bible, but I like the ideas of faith and science being more compatable; the ancienct battle of religion vs. science frusterates me.
