whyyyyy

Why do humans feel the need to better themsleves, and make life "easier"? When was it that someone all of a sudden wanted to create technology and make the future have to compete to always better themselves? I understand that for medical purposes its wonderful, but for everything else . . . sometimes our only education is that what we'd learn in song and dance like African song.

  1. Because gosh darn it, some humans just can't stay entertained that long, and some just have to wonder what they can do to make things possible like never before.
What's wrong with technology and the elevation of society? I mean, I want to live a basic life, but not one devoid of technology. It's of course important to learn to live without it, but why question what was only meant to help you? (even if it is a hindrance/distraction/danger at times)

  2. I completely agree with Cody. It may be detrimental to the lively hood of human beings and eventually threaten their existence but gosh darn that does not matter, we have to find out what would happen if we progressed to that stage of living. (reference Terminator series) As myself and one ever wanting to advance my surroundings and the standard of living for people and myself I can see where the utterly endless cycle of improvement comes from. This is not true for everyone though, for example the people who live one with nature and the Amish, who are completely fine with living that lifestyle. It is in my mind the innovators of tomorrow that thrive to make themselves and everyone else better along the way weather the world is ready or not.
